Job Description


The Production Assistant will offer personalized support to THE HOUSE/Owner in a variety of tasks and duties. 



*Practice sound leadership principles--clear direction, motivation, teamwork, accountability and creating positive results. 

*Communicate and report to Owner on a regular basis, participating in House Associate meetings and House Staff meetings as appropriate,  record meeting minutes, put plans and processes in place for follow-up tasks,  distributes to owner for review, revisions and implementation.


Client/Vendor Relations:

*Build and support positive relationships with all clients, vendors, and HOUSE associates.

*Assists Assistant Studio Manager to oversee general House image, including cleanliness and present-ability of lobby, studio, kitchen and all public areas. 

*In conjunction with Owner, assist in marketing and public relations, as required.

*Ensure quality of service is the top priority and delivered on a first class basis at all times.


 General Duties:

*Assist in organizing events/engagements, running errands, managing appointments and/or calendars, making reservations, placing orders, answering/returning phone calls and many other clerical duties. 

*Arranges travel, accommodations and transportation for upcoming projects.  Develops itineraries and agendas.

*Writing emails, transcribing notes, scanning, copying and creating spreadsheets or printing documents as needed. 

*Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time, gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.

*Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels (craft/household supplies); anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting order for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. 

*Enhances THE HOUSE/OWNER’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the job accomplishment.

*Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications related to the goals of THE HOUSE ; maintaining personal network. 

*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


* Ability to navigate quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

 * Strong communication skills--verbal and listening, ability to problem solve and sense of urgency with deadlines is preferred. 

*Follows instructions and takes initiative to complete tasks with little or no supervision.

* Must be highly adaptable to supporting frequent changes in direction and workflow

*Organization skills

*Hospitality and customer services REQUIRED.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lightroom, and Internet savvy.

* Photo Studio experience/Photography Equipment knowledge preferred.

* Experience in maintaining liaisons with clients, vendors and contractors.
